J. R. Harding & Sons – Operations

At our Manor Furlong site the company provides frozen and ambient warehouse storage, utilising mobile racked stores which have a capacity of 20,000+ pallet spaces. We support many local manufacturers to meet their storage requirements, taking responsibility of the stock once received.

The storage operation is supported by a modern fleet of temperature controlled vehicles, collecting and delivering product across the country, always meeting our customers expectations.

All aspects of the Company’s operations are monitored by the Company’s Quality Management System, which is accredited to ISO 9001:2015.  Our storage and distribution operation is also accredited to the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution.

At our Handlemaker Road site the company operates an IVECO Authorised Commercial Vehicle Workshop, offering vehicle servicing and repairs to all makes and models of LGV’s, LCV’s, PCV’s and trailers.

Our purpose built workshop, with six bays including a rolling road, brake tester and mobile lifts, enables us to maintain our own fleet of vehicles and trailers to the highest levels and offer the same service to our customers. We have been providing a valued service to many local companies for over 40 years.
