Temperature Controlled & Ambient Warehouse
Frozen & Ambient Warehouse – Overview
The extensive, ambient and temperature controlled warehouse facilities ensure efficient vehicle loading and unloading. Integrated with distribution, we are able to consolidate orders to meet customer’s demanding delivery schedules.
Our temperature controlled warehouse facility has been providing a valued service to companies across the South West for over 30 years. Our temperature controlled chambers are configured to meet our customers requirements, at frozen and ambient temperatures. Our company can meet your long and short term storage requirements from a single pallet to the rental of an entire chamber.
Quality Assurance
Our storage and distribution operation is accredited to the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution. Our HACCPs include product segregation to cater for allergens and possible contamination. Chamber air temperatures are constantly monitored onsite and remotely, with visual alarms present when temperatures fall outside specified ranges.
Added Value Services
Dedicated experienced warehouse staff are trained in HACCP and BRC to ensure the store is kept to the highest of standards. The workforce can undertake multiple container loading and unloading exercises during one shift, including palletising, labelling and shrink wrapping.
Technology
The Warehouse Management System is supported by real time data collected from portable scanners, with every operation within the store controlled and monitored by the system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
A customer web portal and e-mailed notifications of receipts and despatches keep our customers informed about their stock movements and levels. EDI interfaces provide seamless integration between systems to ensure complete visibility of stock.
Customers’ barcoded pallet labels are scanned during receipt and despatch to provide additional traceability between systems.
The store is monitored by CCTV 24Hrs a day, with keypad entry systems to all loading areas and protected by a Redcare monitored alarm system out of hours.
